Job Title: CAD Technician (Third Party Payroll)

Location: Andheri East

Reports to: Supervisor - Global CAD Engineering

Education and Experience Requirements

 ITI / Diploma Mechanical Engineering

 Minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience.

 Prior experience in CAD automation, VBA macro development, and SolidWorks API is highly preferred.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for skilled CAD Designer with a solid background in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and design automation tools such as VBA macros & SolidWorks API. This role demands precision, creativity, and collaboration to support product development and engineering initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Here are your key responsibilities:

 Develop and manage CAD models, including large assemblies and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.

 Develop & Implement design automation using Solidworks VBA macros and parametric modeling techniques.

 Utilize SolidWorks API for advanced customization and automation tasks.





 Create and maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawings.

 Prepare 2D drawings as per ASME Y 14.5 & ISO 2768-1.

Critical Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies:

 Proficiency in SolidWorks, with expertise in handling large assemblies, creating detailed engineering drawings, and managing configurations.

 Expertise in VBA macro development and design automation.

 Experience with parametric modeling and SolidWorks API.

 Good knowledge of PDM/DDM systems for CAD data management and document control.

 Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

 Good understanding of engineering principles.

 Basic knowledge of excel

Pay: Up to ₹33,137.80 per month
