Description

Convolution Engineering Consultancy LLP is an ISO 9001:2015 certified multidisciplinary engineering consultancy established in 2019, working across hydropower, dams, barrages, pumped storage, irrigation and transportation infrastructure. We have grown from a small design practice into a big consultancy delivering DPR, detailed design and project management assignments across Governments of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Gujarat and Rajasthan, and private clients as well.

Our order book is at its strongest since we started, with multiple hydropower, barrage and pumped storage assignments running concurrently and new mandates being added through 2026. We are expanding the design team to match it.

We are hiring CAD Designers with prior hydropower project exposure.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation of civil and structural drawings for DPR and detailed design submissions.
2. General arrangement drawings, sections, reinforcement details and layout plans for dams, barrages, powerhouses and water conveyance systems.
3. Maintaining drawing standards, layer conventions, title blocks and revision control across a project set.




4. Incorporation of design team markups and client comments within submission timelines.
5. Cross-checking drawings against design calculations and across disciplines for consistency.
6. Compilation and issue of drawing registers for submission.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent CAD qualification with relevant experience.
2. 4 to 10 years of AutoCAD experience in civil and structural drafting.
3. Mandatory experience on hydropower or water infrastructure projects/Transportation.
4. Ability to produce a complete, self-consistent drawing set to submission standard.
5. Candidates at the senior end of the experience range will be expected to set and enforce drawing standards for full DPR sets.
