We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can help us expand these relationships and create new business opportunities across media, publications, magazines, events, exhibitions and advertising .

The Role

This is a business-generation role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people, building relationships and converting opportunities into business.

You will be responsible for identifying potential clients and partners, presenting our offerings, developing commercial proposals and closing advertising, sponsorship, exhibition and partnership opportunities.

We are looking for someone who doesn't just manage leads; you create them.

What You’ll Do

- Identify and approach potential brands, design firms, manufacturers and industry partners .
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and key people within the industry.
- Develop business for our invested brands in the real estate & design ecosystem
- Pitch advertising opportunities, sponsorship packages, brand partnerships and other commercial offerings.
- Take ownership of the complete business development cycle — prospecting → meeting → pitching → negotiation → closing .
- Develop customised proposals based on a client's business and marketing objectives.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, networking meets and client meetings to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with our internal creative, marketing, editorial and event teams to execute client requirements.
- Keep yourself updated with what's happening across the architecture, interiors, design,



lifestyle, media and advertising industries .

You should be:
- Confident while speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Strong at networking and building relationships.
- Comfortable with cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and client meetings.
- Good at presentations and commercial negotiations.
- Target-driven and comfortable owning revenue numbers.
- Proactive enough to find opportunities rather than wait for them.
- Able to understand a client's requirements and turn them into a business proposal.
- Comfortable travelling for meetings, events and exhibitions when required.
