Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and expanding partnerships for HR consulting, recruitment services, and brand collaborations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting meetings and presentations with potential clients, and negotiating and closing business deals.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with internal teams to design tailored service proposals, track market trends, and contribute to revenue growth and long-term client engagement. The role also involves maintaining CRM records, preparing regular sales reports, and representing the company at industry events and networking forums.

Qualifications

- Solid business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and deal negotiation.
- Experience in HR consulting, recruitment services,



or professional services business development is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in relationship management, stakeholder communication, and customer success practices.
- Comfort with market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning to support growth initiatives.
- Ability to prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches with clear, persuasive communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet targets and manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and online networking platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the Greater Kolkata market or similar metropolitan areas is a plus.
