Location: Chandivali, Powai, Mumbai. /n Role: Full-time /n Role Overview /n The Business Development Manager will identify, develop and manage growth opportunities across wholesale, multi-brand retail, marketplaces, hospitality, gifting and strategic partnerships. /n The person will own the business-development process—from researching and approaching potential partners to preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating onboarding and growing accounts after launch. /n This role is suited to someone who combines strong sales instincts with an appreciation for premium brands and long-term relationships. /n Key Responsibilities – /n Business Development /n /n
- Identify prospective retailers, distributors, marketplaces, pop-ups and strategic partners aligned with Early Sunday.
/n
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline across priority markets, including India, the US and the UAE.
/n
- Conduct outreach, present the brand and convert suitable prospects into active accounts.
/n
- Develop opportunities with premium boutiques, department stores, hotels, gifting companies and complementary brands.
/n
- Represent Early Sunday at trade shows, exhibitions, buyer meetings and industry events where relevant.
/n /n Sales and Account Management /n /n
- Own wholesale and partnership sales targets.
/n
- Prepare line sheets, sales presentations, proposals, quotations and commercial agreements.
/n
- Negotiate pricing, margins, minimum order quantities, payment terms and delivery expectations within approved guidelines.
/n
- Manage relationships with existing stockists and partners.
/n
- Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for reorders, wider assortments and seasonal launches.
/n
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, conversations, commercial terms and account performance.
/n /n Market and Commercial Planning /n /n
- Research markets, competitors, retailers and partnership opportunities.
/n
- Help determine the most suitable product assortment and route to market for each partner.
/n
- Collect buyer and retailer feedback on products, pricing, sizing, demand and customer preferences.
/n
- Work with leadership to forecast orders and evaluate opportunities based on revenue, margin, effort and brand fit.
/n
- Track wholesale revenue, sell-through, reorder rates and pipeline conversion.
/n /n Cross-Functional Coordination /n /n
- Coordinate with design, production, inventory, logistics, marketing and finance teams.
/n
- Ensure partners receive accurate product information, imagery, samples and launch materials.
/n
- Align partner launches with product availability and delivery commitments.
/n
- Help maintain consistent brand positioning across retail, marketplace and partnership channels.
/n
- Support market-specific launches, trunk shows, pop-ups and retail activations.
/n /n What We're Looking For /n /n
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, wholesale sales, retail partnerships or key account management.
/n
- Experience in fashion, childrenswear, lifestyle, beauty, luxury or premium consumer brands is preferred.
/n
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate and close commercial opportunities.
/n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
/n
- Confident relationship management and presentation abilities.
/n
- Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, order values and sales targets.
/n
- Organized and comfortable managing several prospects and accounts simultaneously.
/n
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets,
presentations and CRM or pipeline-management tools.
/n
- Willingness to travel for buyer meetings, exhibitions and retail visits when required.
