Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a part-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will support the business development team in identifying potential clients, researching target markets, and assisting with lead generation and prospect outreach. Daily tasks may include maintaining client databases, preparing sales presentations and proposals, coordinating follow-ups, and supporting communication with existing and prospective customers.





The role also involves learning about Smart Prints India’s printing and finishing capabilities, understanding client requirements, and contributing to the development of customized solutions that align with business goals. The intern will collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure that opportunities are tracked, documented, and progressed effectively.

Qualifications

- Strong interest in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to engage professionally with business stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of marketing concepts and market research, including competitor analysis and understanding of B2B environments.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with clear written and verbal abilities and confidence in interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational and analytical skills, including attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and comfort working with spreadsheets and CRM tools.
- Ability to learn quickly about printing, packaging, and related production processes; curiosity about design, branding, and physical marketing materials is an advantage.
- Proactive, self-motivated work approach, with a collaborative mindset and readiness to work on-site in Bengaluru.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
