Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – EdTech Sales & Admission Counselling to join our sales team.

The candidate will be responsible for handling company-provided qualified leads, communicating with students and parents, understanding their requirements, explaining suitable career and admission solutions, following up with prospects and achieving sales targets.

Company-qualified leads will be provided. No field sales or self-generated lead requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle company-provided qualified leads through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Connect with students and parents and understand their educational and career requirements.
- Explain College Guru's career guidance, counselling and admission support services.
- Provide appropriate information about courses, colleges, entrance examinations and admission opportunities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested students and parents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Handle customer queries and objections professionally.
- Convert qualified leads into customers through effective communication and sales skills.
- Maintain accurate lead, follow-up and conversion details in the CRM.




- Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the counselling and admissions team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions and performance reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in EdTech Sales, Inside Sales, Education Sales, Admission Counselling, Career Counselling, B2C Sales, Telecalling or Business Development is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.
- Previous experience in the education or EdTech industry will be an added advantage.

Language Requirements
- Malayalam – Mandatory
- Hindi – Added Advantage
- Tamil – Added Advantage
- English – Basic communication required
