We’re Hiring | Content Acquisition & Syndication

ProducerBazaar is looking for a Content Acquisition & Syndication skilled to build strong relationships across the media and entertainment ecosystem and drive content licensing and commercial opportunities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands content, rights, buyers and commercial deals.

What you will do?

- Identify and onboard relevant producers, production houses, content owners and rights holders
- Source films, series, documentaries and other commercially viable content
- Evaluate content based on rights availability, quality, marketability and buyer demand
- Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, distributors and content owners
- Identify potential buyers across OTT platforms, broadcasters, TV networks, digital platforms and distributors
- Understand buyer requirements and curate relevant content for them
- Pitch and present content to potential buyers
- Drive commercial discussions, negotiations and deal closures
- Manage the content journey from initial sourcing through buyer interest and commercial closure
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance for documentation, contracting and deal handover
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of content and commercial opportunities
- Track market trends, buyer requirements and emerging content opportunities
- Explore new markets, partnerships and syndication opportunities, including international opportunities

We are looking for?

- Experience in content acquisition, content licensing, syndication, media sales, distribution,



OTT partnerships or entertainment business development
- Strong understanding of the Indian media and entertainment ecosystem
- Existing relationships with producers, production houses, OTT platforms, broadcasters, distributors or content buyers
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify commercially valuable content and connect it with the right buyer
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong ownership and ability to independently develop opportunities
- Someone who enjoys networking, relationship building and closing deals
- Experience across regional and/or international content markets is an advantage

IDEAL PROFILE: You may come from an OTT platform, broadcaster, production house, film distributor, content aggregator, media company or entertainment business.
