Role Description The Business Development Consultant is a full time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across OdissiTech’s EdTech and Enterprise IT Services offerings. Day-to-day activities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings, understanding business needs, and positioning appropriate solutions and training programs.





The consultant will prepare business plans and proposals, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with internal delivery and training teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and service offerings. The role also involves maintaining a strong sales pipeline, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives in target markets.

Qualifications

- Ability to drive New Business Development and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, networking, and pipeline management.
- Consulting capabilities to assess client needs, recommend solutions, and provide strategic guidance.
- Excellent Communication skills for stakeholder engagement, presentations, and proposal development.
- Business Planning experience, including market analysis, forecasting, and sales strategy.
- Background in IT services, software solutions, or EdTech business development is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
