About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the functional implementation and transformation projects related to Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into effective CPQ configurations and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quote-to-Cash processes, extensive experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of prestigious clients across various industries.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5-8 years of IT or business consulting experience, with at least 2 successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities, including product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and order handoff processes.
- Experience acting as a functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery units.




- Proficiency in conducting requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots.
- Ability to document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
- Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, pricing governance, approval workflows, asset-based ordering, renewals, amendments, and contract management.
- Experience supporting integration with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP, CRM, and other downstream systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze current and future-state processes and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead workshops and facilitate sign-offs.
- Experience in testing phases such as SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation, including test scenario preparation and defect management.
- Ability to support user training, SOP documentation, and post-go-live support activities.
- Proven ability to coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely project completion.

Responsibilities As an Oracle CPQ Cloud Functional Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services, your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and discovery meetings to understand client needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Documenting detailed business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Oracle CPQ capabilities.
- Designing and configuring Oracle CPQ product models, configuration rules, pricing rules, quote layouts, and approval workflows to meet client specifications.




- Providing functional guidance on CPQ product model design, configuration, and customization to ensure optimal user experience and process efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure configurations and customizations align with business requirements and are technically feasible.
- Supporting integration efforts with Salesforce, ERP systems, and other downstream platforms by defining data flows, validation rules, and functional touchpoints.
- Facilitating business review sessions, solution walkthroughs, and obtaining sign-offs on functional design documents.
- Preparing and supporting testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing, by developing test scenarios, reviewing scripts, and managing defect resolution.
- Assisting in user training, creating SOP documentation, and ensuring user adoption and readiness for go-live.
- Analyzing change requests, assessing their impact, and supporting prioritization and release planning.
- Managing and coordinating deliverables with onshore and offshore teams to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Conducting demonstrations, process walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions for clients and stakeholders.
