Hiring Immediately: BTEC (Business) Assessor and Trainer – On-site Assignment in China
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic BTEC (Business Qualification) Assessor and Trainer for an on-site teaching and assessment assignment at Xiamen University, working on behalf of Cambridgeshire Career Academy. This is a unique prospect to gain international teaching exposure while delivering and assessing BTEC Business qualifications in a cross-cultural academic environment.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering engaging lessons, conducting Pearson-standard assessments, and supporting curriculum and program development in collaboration with the academic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with BTEC Business qualification frameworks
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback in accordance with Pearson guidelines
- Develop and administer customized assessment plans for individual learners
- Design interactive and vocational training sessions (lectures, practical activities, blended learning)
- Create learning materials and resources to enhance student comprehension and participation
- Ensure all teaching and assessment practices comply with Pearson standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessments, and attendance
- Participate in internal and external verification processes
- Collaborate with the academic team at Xiamen University to align training with industry and curriculum standards
- Provide students with career development guidance and support
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Certified BTEC Assessor qualification, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in educational assessment and program delivery
- Proven experience delivering and assessing BTEC or equivalent vocational qualifications
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment methodologies
- Proficiency in various teaching methodologies and e-learning platforms
- Fluent English speaker with clear, neutral communication
- Valid passport with at least [6/12] months validity, and willingness/eligibility to obtain a Chinese work visa
- Able to travel to China and be based on-site for the entire assignment duration
- Open-minded, culturally adaptable, and willing to adjust to local norms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
