Role Description The Business Development Intern – Founder’s Office is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The intern will support the founder in identifying new business opportunities with schools, learning centers, and parents, and assist in building and maintaining key partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitor research, preparing presentations and proposals, coordinating meetings and follow-ups, and tracking leads and conversions.

The role also involves supporting outreach campaigns, contributing to basic sales and marketing materials, and assisting with operational tasks related to ongoing partnerships and pilots.



This position offers exposure to strategic decision-making in a growing edtech startup and close collaboration with the leadership team.

Qualifications

- Business development and sales-related skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and basic negotiation abilities.
- Market research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and presentation skills.
- Organizational and coordination skills, such as time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail in documentation.
- Comfort with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or lead-tracking tools) and basic digital literacy.
- Demonstrated interest in edtech, children’s learning, or education-focused businesses; prior internship experience in startups or business roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a rapid-paced startup environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field is preferred.
