Role Description The BIM Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing Building Information Modeling processes across multidisciplinary projects. This role leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM standards, templates, and workflows, ensuring model quality, consistency, and coordination among architecture, structural, and MEP teams. The BIM Manager manages project-specific BIM execution plans, supervises model setup, clash detection, and issue resolution, and supports design optimization through virtual design and construction techniques.

Day-to-day activities include coordinating with project managers and discipline leads, mentoring BIM technicians, providing training on BIM tools and best practices, and ensuring deliverables align with regulatory and client requirements.



The role also involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to support efficient design reviews, data-driven decision-making, and smooth handover of accurate, as-built models.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, standards development, and BIM execution planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in BIM Coordination, such as multidisciplinary model integration, clash detection, and issue tracking and resolution.
- Candidates should possess skills in Virtual Design, including 3D visualization, model-based design reviews, and support for virtual construction workflows.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Architecture, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and design intent within BIM environments.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) modeling and coordination, ensuring accurate representation of building services in integrated models.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in leading BIM software platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, and related coordination tools) and familiarity with common data environments.
- Experience managing BIM on complex industrial or healthcare projects (e.g., pharma, labs, cleanrooms, or high-tech facilities) is highly beneficial.
