Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BBS Engineer with Min 5+ years of experience in Bar Bending Schedule preparation, reinforcement work, site execution, steel quantity calculation, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

- Prepare Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) as per structural and reinforcement drawings.
- Review drawings and prepare accurate reinforcement quantities and bar cutting details.
- Coordinate with the site execution team for reinforcement work.
- Monitor and ensure proper execution of reinforcement activities at site.
- Maintain site stock and monitor steel/material consumption.
- Prepare material requirements based on BBS and site requirements.
- Prepare and submit steel reconciliation statements.
- Check steel quantities, bar marks, cutting lengths, and wastage.
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, consultants, and project teams.




- Identify discrepancies between drawings, BBS, and site execution and coordinate for corrections.
- Maintain proper records of BBS, stock, steel consumption, and reconciliation.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in BBS and reinforcement works.
- Robust knowledge of RCC reinforcement drawings and detailing.
- Experience in steel quantity calculation and reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of site execution and construction practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
- Candidates with commercial, residential, high-rise, or infrastructure project experience will be preferred.
