The Commis 1 – Bakery will support the Bakery & Pastry team in the preparation and production of baked goods, pastries, and desserts while maintaining quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery products, pastries, and desserts.

- Apply modern pastry and baking techniques in day-to-day production.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic baking techniques, methods, and processes.

- Prepare and handle products such as cakes, pastries, breads, creams, fillings, and other desserts as required.

- Maintain positive knowledge of dessert preparation, plating, and presentation.

- Have a basic understanding of Indian desserts and traditional preparations; training will be provided to strengthen product knowledge.

- Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and utilization of ingredients.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness,



and food safety within the bakery section.

- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

- Support the Chef/Senior Bakery team in daily production and special preparations.

- Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of workstations and equipment.

- Continuously learn and develop knowledge of new baking, pastry, and dessert techniques.

Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, café, restaurant, or hotel environment.

- Strong foundation in basic baking and pastry techniques.

- Good understanding of modern pastry and dessert preparation.

- Knowledge of Indian desserts is preferred; training will be provided.

- Good attention to detail and presentation.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
