Key Responsibilities

1. Market Penetration & Lead Generation

- Target and onboard national retail chains, premium independent boutiques, and large-scale wholesalers looking for gold, diamond, and platinum manufacturing partners.
- Pitch the company's manufacturing advantages, including precision casting, laser technology, and master craftsmanship across all three precious metal categories.
- Showcase seasonal product catalogs and present curated design collections to retail procurement heads.

2. Order Specification & Technical Coordination

- Act as the technical bridge between client buying teams and the factory's production managers.
- Translate client order requirementssuch as exact gold/platinum karats, diamond weights/clarities, and custom casting demands—into error-free factory work orders.
- Oversee critical project milestones, tracking production timelines from design approval and wax prototyping to final gemstone setting and high-polish finishing.

3. Account Management & Collections

- Nurture corporate and wholesale buyer accounts to secure recurring manufacturing orders and long-term supply contracts.
- Manage high-value billing tracking, coordinate shipping logistics for high-security transit,



and ensure timely payment collection as per credit agreements.

4. Trade Representation

- Identify and represent the manufacturing house at key regional and national jewellery exhibitions.
- Monitor fluctuations in bullion markets (Gold, Platinum) and loose diamond prices to coordinate accurate, real-time client quotations.

Technical & Skill Requirements

- Experience: 3 to 6 years of business-to-business sales experience within a commercial gems and jewellery manufacturing facility or large wholesale hub.

- Core Product Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Gold karats (14k, 18k, 22k) and hallmarking norms.
- Solid mastery of Diamond grading (Color, Clarity, Cut, Carat) and certification standards (e.g., GIA, IGI).
- Knowledge of Platinum manufacturing nuances (PT950), alloy compositions, and its distinct density/workability traits compared to gold.
- Skills: Strong calculation skills for metal weights and labor charges (making fees), exceptional corporate presentation abilities, and a willingness to travel extensively for physical stock showcases.
