Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure technologies, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality data products.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement data solutions on Azure platforms including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide necessary data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing processes.
- Optimize data models and query performance to improve efficiency and effectiveness of data retrieval.




- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve issues as they arise.

Skills and Qualifications

- 8-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and possibly Scala or R.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar.
- Understanding of data governance and security practices in Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
