/ Duties & Responsibilities
1. Repair and maintenance tractors, turf mowers, grass-cutting machines, rollers, utility vehicles and other ground equipment.
2. Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of machinery.
3. Diagnose and repair engine, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and transmission-related issues.
4. Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime of equipment.
5. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and machinery.
6. Maintain service records, repair reports and spare-parts requirements.
7. Coordinate with ground staff regarding equipment maintenance and availability.
8.
Ensure all machinery is safe and ready for daily ground operations and match days.
Desired profile of the candidate
1. Minimum 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
2. Strong knowledge of diesel/petrol engines, mechanical systems and basic auto electrical systems.
3. Experience with tractors, lawn mowers, turf machinery, rollers, or agricultural/landscaping equipment preferred.
4. Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and respond quickly to machinery breakdowns.
6. Candidates with experience in sports grounds, sports facilities, golf courses, turf management or landscaping will be preferred.
