IRM Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. (Manufacturers of Rimek Machines) is a leading pharmaceutical engineering company known globally for its Rimek brand and expertise in tablet compression and capsule filling technologies. With a manufacturing legacy dating back to 1981 and a presence in 60+ countries, IRM Enterprises designs and manufactures high-performance pharmaceutical machinery for laboratory, R&D;, and industrial applications.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Kadi, Mehsana.

Role: Automation EngineerThe Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems for tablet compression and capsule filling machines. The role involves machine programming, control-system integration, process optimization, customer support, and collaboration with engineering and product-development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based machine control systems
- Design and configure HMI and SCADA applications
- Work with VFDs, servo drives, and servo motors
- Develop and optimize machine automation programs
- Integrate PLCs with sensors, drives, and other industrial devices
- Diagnose electrical and automation-related issues
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites
- Provide technical assistance and remote support to service and production teams




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and machine upgrades
- Prepare technical documentation and support compliance with applicable safety and industry requirements
- Provide training and technical guidance to relevant teams
- Travel to customer sites as required, including on short notice

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with HMI and SCADA development
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, and servo motors
- Experience in machine programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols and PLC-to-device communication
- Strong machine-level problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Willingness to travel for customer/site requirements

Preferred ExperienceExperience in industrial automation, machine control systems, PLC/HMI/SCADA-based systems, machine commissioning, and customer technical support will be an advantage.
