About the Role

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman – Electrical responsible for preparing, modifying and maintaining detailed electrical and control system drawings for industrial automation and infrastructure projects.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD, with a good understanding of electrical drawings, control panels, electrical components and industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify electrical and control panel drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop Electrical Schematic, Single Line Diagram (SLD), Wiring and Control Circuit drawings.
- Prepare Panel GA, Layout and Component Layout drawings.
- Prepare Cable Schedule, Terminal Schedule and Interconnection drawings.
- Develop drawings based on engineering specifications, BOMs and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings for PLC control panels, MCC/control panels and automation systems.
- Incorporate electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, power supplies, terminals, PLC modules, VFDs and SMPS in drawings.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Automation and Project Engineering teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on engineering changes and client comments.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control and documentation.




- Support preparation of As-Built drawings after project completion.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable electrical standards and company/project requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing/panel fabrication teams for drawing clarification and implementation.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and control circuit drawings.
- Knowledge of control panel drawings and electrical layouts.
- Understanding of PLC panels and industrial automation systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC I/O, relays, contactors, MCB/MCCB, VFD, SMPS, terminals and control components.
- Understanding of power and control wiring.
- Knowledge of cable, terminal and wire numbering.
- Ability to prepare and interpret GA, SLD, schematic, wiring and interconnection drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Desired Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting/design.
- Experience in industrial automation, electrical panels, control panels or EPC projects will be preferred.
- Should be able to independently prepare electrical/control drawings based on engineering inputs.
- Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple project drawings and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
