Ihre Aufgaben

- Perform CAD modifications and model clean-up, preferably using PTC Creo
- Understand and apply basic concepts of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Carry out geometry preparation, meshing, and preprocessing for simulation models
- Perform mesh quality checks and ensure compliance with internal and project-specific quality standards.
- Demonstrate basic mesh sensitivity awareness; identify cases requiring refinement and flag potential risks to senior engineers
- Prepare technical documentation, result summaries, and simulation reports
- Maintain simulation models in accordance with defined standards and best practices
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve geometry and modeling-related issues
- Execute basic FEA tasks under guidance.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in meshing and mesh quality evaluation, including an understanding of common quality parameters and the ability to identify and correct poor-quality elements
- Hands-on experience with pre-processors or meshing tools such as HyperMesh, SimLab, and HyperView
- Ability to perform geometry preparation and defeaturing to achieve robust, high-quality meshes, particularly when working with CAD models from PTC Creo




- Practical understanding of how mesh size, type and mesh quality influence solution stability, time step selection, and computational cost
- Understanding of FEA fundamentals, including boundary conditions, loads, constraints, and element types.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; concepts.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in preprocessing, geometry clean-up, and meshing
