Role Description The Associate Professor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Meerut. The individual will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in their discipline, design and update syllabi, prepare lectures and learning materials, and conduct classroom and laboratory sessions. Daily responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, supervising projects or dissertations, evaluating assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records.

The role also involves engaging in research and scholarly activities, publishing in academic journals, participating in seminars and conferences, and contributing to curriculum development. In addition, the Associate Professor is expected to take part in departmental meetings,



committee work, accreditation activities, and outreach that supports the institute’s academic and community objectives.

Qualifications

- Solid teaching and lecturing abilities, including course planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Research and scholarly skills, such as conducting independent and collaborative studies, publishing work, and presenting at academic forums.
- Academic writing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare research papers, reports, and explicit instructional materials.
- Student mentoring and guidance capabilities, including project supervision and academic advising.
- Proficiency in using educational technologies, such as learning management systems, digital collaboration tools, and presentation software.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline from a recognized institution, with a record of academic achievement.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Professor or equivalent in engineering or technology, meeting applicable regulatory and accreditation norms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, handle responsibilities in committees, and contribute to institutional development.
- Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices and a student-centered approach.
