We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically robust investment banking professional to join us in Emkay. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Private Equity (PE), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;) transactions, working closely with senior bankers, clients, investors, and advisors. Job Responsibilities

- Support execution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Private Equity (PE), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;) transactions from origination through closure.
- Assist in preparation of pitch books, investor presentations, information memorandums, management presentations, and other transaction-related materials.
- Build and maintain financial models including DCF valuation, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and other valuation methodologies.
- Support due diligence, transaction documentation, and deal execution activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, investors, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders during transaction execution.
- Analyze financial statements, business performance, and industry trends to support investment recommendations.
- Leverage AI tools for desktop research, data mining, presentation creation, financial modelling support,



and documentation of meeting notes and deal updates.

Qualification
- Postgraduate in Finance from a premier B-School (Tier-1 preferred), OR
- Chartered Accountant (CA) First Attempt, OR
- CFA (US) qualified

Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in ECM, Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A;, Corporate Finance, Deal Advisory, or Transaction Advisory.
- Preference for candidates with end-to-end transaction exposure through deal closure.
- Candidates from MNC KPOs or from domestic boutique investment banks, merchant banking firms, brokerage houses, etc
- Exposure to direct client interaction and deal execution activities preferred.
