Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data science projects within the insurance sector, focusing on AI/ML deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support scalable data processing.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS for data analysis and model development.
- Perform statistical analysis and build machine learning models using relevant frameworks and libraries.
- Manipulate and query data using SQL and leverage big data technologies and platforms.
- Create compelling data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings effectively.

Mandatory Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance domain.
- Strong proficiency in Databricks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure or GCP for scalable data processing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data architecture.
