Role Description:
The Assistant Reservations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role supports and oversees the reservations team, ensuring accurate and productive handling of room bookings, group reservations, and special requests across Vedic Village properties.
The Assistant Reservations
Manager manages daily reservation operations, monitors room inventory and rates, and coordinates closely with sales, front office, and operations to optimize occupancy and revenue. The role involves responding to inquiries through phone, email, and online channels, providing courteous and timely customer service, and maintaining detailed records in the reservations system.

Manager also assists with training team members, implementing reservation standards, and preparing regular reports on booking trends and performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Reservations skills, including managing room inventories, handling individual and group bookings, and using reservation or property management systems.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into bookings, upsell room categories or packages, and support revenue optimisation initiatives.
- Candidates should possess Training experience to guide, coach, and support reservations staff in following procedures and service standards.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, preferably in luxury resort settings, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in reservation and PMS software, along with basic MS Office skills, is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment are important.
