Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and competent Assistant Professor for the MBA Department to deliver high-quality teaching, mentor students, and contribute to academic excellence. The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of academic knowledge and industry exposure, enabling students to bridge theoretical concepts with practical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach MBA courses, including:

1. Production and Operations Management (POM)
2. Human Values and Ethics
3. Total Quality Management (TQM)
4. Accounting

- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and case study discussions.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, presentations, and continuous assessments.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in research, publications, consultancy, and faculty development activities.
- Support departmental accreditation, academic audits, and institutional quality initiatives.
- Participate in academic administration, examination duties, student activities, and institutional events.
- Qualifications




- MBA with specialization in Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Preference will be given to candidates with NET/SET/Ph.D. qualification as per AICTE/Anna University norms.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of industry experience is mandatory.
- Prior teaching experience in a management institution is preferred.
- Candidates with both industry and teaching experience will be given preference.
- Required Skills
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Operations Management and Quality Management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Student-centric teaching approach with effective classroom management.
- Knowledge of outcome-based education (OBE) and accreditation processes is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, and digital teaching tools.
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
