Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor / Faculty – Cybersecurity role based in the indorer Area. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in cybersecurity, design and deliver curriculum aligned with industry needs, and facilitate practical labs, projects, and assessments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, mentoring and advising students, supervising academic projects, and contributing to continuous course improvement.

The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives, participating in departmental meetings,



and supporting research, industry partnerships, and placement-related activities in the cybersecurity domain.

Qualifications

- Strong academic foundation in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Applied knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as network security, application security, cryptography, risk management, and security operations.
- Experience with practical tools and technologies used in cybersecurity (e.g., security frameworks, monitoring tools, penetration testing tools, secure coding practices).
- Proven ability in curriculum design, lesson planning, and delivering engaging classroom and lab sessions.
- Skills in student mentoring, project supervision, and academic evaluation, with a learner-centric teaching approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in research, publications, or industry collaboration in cybersecurity or related areas.
- Comfort working with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional academic and administrative teams and contribute to institutional initiatives.
- Prior teaching or training experience in higher education or qualified programs is highly desirable.
