About the RoleWe are looking for an Assistant Manager – Ad Sales to join our Bengaluru team and drive advertising revenue across our Travel Media portfolio, with a primary focus on Travel + Leisure India & South Asia and other travel media assets.

The role will involve media space selling, client acquisition, relationship management and revenue generation across print and travel media inventories, including in-flight/travel magazines, print advertising opportunities and other premium travel media solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of experience in media/advertising sales, with a robust understanding of media space selling and relationships with brands, advertising agencies and media agencies. Candidates with experience across travel, tourism, hospitality, lifestyle or luxury categories will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive advertising sales and revenue across APX Luxury's Travel Media portfolio.
- Sell advertising space and media inventories across travel publications, in-flight magazines and other travel media platforms.
- Identify and acquire new clients and advertisers across relevant categories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, media agencies, advertising agencies and key decision-makers.
- Generate leads through market mapping, networking, referrals, agency relationships and direct outreach.
- Understand client marketing objectives and recommend relevant media and advertising solutions.
- Prepare and present media proposals, presentations, rate cards and commercial pitches.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closure and campaign execution.




- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and revenue forecast.
- Explore opportunities beyond traditional space selling, including customised brand solutions, integrations, partnerships, events and other marketing opportunities.
- Track industry trends and identify emerging opportunities across travel, tourism, hospitality, lifestyle and luxury.
- Coordinate with editorial, production, marketing and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns.
- Maintain regular sales reports, pipeline updates and client information.

Candidate Profile

- 3–4 years of experience in media sales, advertising sales, publishing or a related B2B sales role.
- Strong understanding of media space selling and advertising sales.
- Existing relationships with brands, advertising agencies and/or media agencies will be an advantage.
- Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, lifestyle or luxury media/advertising will be highly preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate and close advertising deals.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven with a demonstrated ability to work towards revenue targets.
- Strong networking and relationship-management abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to work on-site from our Bengaluru office and travel for client meetings/business development when required.
