Limited is the parent/group company, all recruitment, employment, payroll, and related HR processes for this role will be managed by Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited. /n Job Objective /n Responsible for managing shift operations of the DRI plant to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted production of quality sponge iron while meeting production targets. /n Key Responsibilities / KRA /n Shift Operations /n /n

- Ensure daily sponge iron production as per quality and quantity targets.

/n

- Plan and allocate contract manpower area-wise.

/n

- Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize plant downtime.

/n

- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure timely sample collection.

/n

- Coordinate with CRO for setting and maintaining process parameters.

/n

- Ensure stock house bunkers, vehicles and operational consumables are available as per production requirements.

/n

- Ensure feed chute jams are cleared promptly to minimize feed loss.

/n

- Maintain production logbooks and digitize production data for analysis.

/n /n Safety & Compliance /n /n

- Ensure zero safety incidents and Lost Time Injuries (LTI).

/n





- Implement 5S and ensure safety compliance across DRI plant areas.

/n

- Conduct toolbox talks and promote near-miss and safety observation reporting.

/n

- Ensure 100% permit compliance for activities and train team members on EHS procedures.

/n /n IMS Compliance /n /n

- Maintain required IMS documentation and records.

/n

- Ensure compliance with ISO, IMS, SOP, HIRA and Aspect-Impact protocols.

/n /n Key Performance Indicators (KPI) /n /n

- Daily manpower planning and zero production loss.

/n

- Adherence to shift-wise production plan.

/n

- Control of sponge iron quality rejections and quality parameters such as Fe(M).

/n

- Control of specific water and power consumption per ton of product.

/n

- Safety and legal compliance, including toolbox talks, near-miss reporting and work permits.

/n

- IMS documentation and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.

/n /n Qualification & Experience /n Qualification: Diploma in Metallurgical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. /n Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Shift In-Charge in a steel plant. /n Required Skills /n /n

- Robust communication and problem-solving skills.

/n

- Ability to manage and handle contract manpower.

/n

- Knowledge of plant operations and relevant plant assets.

/n

- Ability to manage shift operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
