Role / Title: Assistant Manager Database Operations

Reporting To: Senior Manager – SEO

KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB To manage and ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely updation of automotive data across all website modules. The role will be responsible for managing the database team, maintaining operational trackers and ensuring data updates are completed within defined SLAs, especially for new vehicle launches. The position will work closely with Editorial, Design, Content, Product and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely website updates.

The role will also leverage OEM sources, AI tools and market intelligence to improve data quality, identify gaps and maintain up-to-date vehicle information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Website Data Management: Manage and maintain accurate vehicle data across all website modules, including prices, specifications, variants, features, images, colours, safety, ratings and CMS tagging.
- Data Quality & QC: Conduct regular quality checks, identify discrepancies, maintain defined accuracy standards and ensure timely resolution of data issues.
- New & Upcoming Vehicle Management: Manage real-time data updates for recent vehicle launches within defined SLAs and maintain accurate,



up-to-date information on upcoming vehicles and competitor models.
- Team Management & Workflow: Manage, delegate, and monitor team tasks, productivity, quality and timelines while maintaining all required database, content, QC and issue trackers.
- Stakeholder Co-ordination: Work closely with Editorial, Design, Content, Product and other internal teams to ensure timely completion of data and content dependencies.
- Research & Data Validation: Use official OEM websites, reliable sources, AI tools and market intelligence to research, validate and update automotive information.
- Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare dashboards and reports on data accuracy, productivity, SLA adherence, pending tasks and issues, while identifying opportunities to improve database processes and reduce errors.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor / master’s degree

Years and type of experience:

- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Data & Content Operations
