Role Overview

We are looking for a target-driven Assistant Manager/Manager – Corporate & SME Health Insurance Sales to acquire new corporate and SME clients for Group Health Insurance and related employee-benefit products.

The candidate will manage the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and understanding client requirements to preparing proposals, negotiating with decision-makers and ensuring premium collection and policy closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Acquire new SME and corporate clients for Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident, Group Term Life and other employee-benefit products.
- Generate business through outbound calling, referrals, networking, channel partners and company-generated leads.
- Engage with founders, business owners, HR heads, finance heads and administration teams.
- Understand employee demographics, existing insurance arrangements and coverage requirements.
- Coordinate with insurers and internal teams to obtain competitive quotations and structure suitable insurance solutions.
- Present proposals, explain coverage and exclusions, negotiate commercials and close business.
- Ensure timely collection of premiums, documentation and handover for policy issuance.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for renewals,



cross-selling and referrals.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update all activities in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue, premium and customer-acquisition targets.
- Track competitor offerings and provide regular market feedback to the management team.

Candidate Profile

- 3–7 years of experience in corporate insurance, SME insurance, employee benefits or B2B financial-services sales.
- Experience selling Group Health Insurance or Group Mediclaim policies is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with SMEs, corporates, HR professionals, CAs, insurance intermediaries or channel partners will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of group health insurance products, policy terms, pricing, exclusions and claims processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, target-oriented environment.
- Disciplined in pipeline management, follow-ups and CRM reporting.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or insurance-related qualification is preferred.
