ASSISTANT MANAGER –

Reports To: Managing Director / General Manager

Job Summary The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Hotel Apollo Grand, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage outlets, banquets, security, and maintenance. The role ensures smooth operations, high service standards, staff productivity, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations across all departments and ensure compliance with hotel SOPs.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve complaints or service issues.
- Conduct daily staff briefings and coordinate with department heads.
- Oversee staff attendance, discipline, grooming, and performance.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of all hotel areas.
- Support banquet and event execution to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Assist in achieving room, banquet, and restaurant revenue targets.
- Monitor inventory usage, operational expenses, and wastage control.




- Verify daily operational and sales reports and submit updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and security standards.

Authority

- Approve staff schedules and routine operational requirements.
- Handle guest service recovery within approved limits.
- Recommend improvements in operations, staffing, and guest experience.

Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–7 years of hospitality experience in a supervisory role.
- Solid leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and maintain service excellence.
