Role Description The Talent Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing and developing relationships with DJs and other performance talent within MWAB’s network. This role includes sourcing and vetting new talent, coordinating availability, and matching performers to specific events based on client needs and experience goals.

The Talent

Manager will oversee contracts, schedules, and performance expectations, ensuring all parties are aligned and prepared before each event. Day-to-day tasks involve communicating with talent and event organizers, maintaining accurate talent databases,



and collaborating with internal teams to support event planning and execution. The role also requires monitoring talent performance feedback and recommending improvements or additional support where needed.

Qualifications

- Talent management and relationship-building skills, including experience working with performers, artists, or creative professionals.
- Event coordination or entertainment industry experience, with the ability to align talent capabilities to specific event requirements.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills, including maintaining databases, calendars, and contract documentation.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly set expectations and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Comfort working remotely with digital tools (video calls, messaging platforms, project management software) and managing tasks independently.
- Understanding of electronic music culture, live performance dynamics, or DJ event environments is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work part time with flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends based on event needs.
- Relevant education or training in talent management, event management, music business, or a related field is a plus.
