Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Article Trainee role based in Ahmedabad.

The Article

Trainee will assist in statutory and tax audits, support preparation and filing of tax returns, and help in maintaining accurate books of accounts and working papers. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and organizing client data, performing basic financial and tax computations, supporting team members in drafting reports, and assisting with documentation and compliance-related tasks.



The role also involves coordinating with clients under guidance, updating work trackers, and learning applicable accounting, auditing, and tax standards through practical exposure and study.

Qualifications

- Enrollment as a CA student under ICAI and eligibility to register for articleship training.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and direct and indirect taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting/taxation software (knowledge of Tally or similar tools is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and report preparation.
- Ability to work in a disciplined, deadline-driven environment and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn, maintain professional ethics, and adhere to firm and regulatory standards.
