We are looking for an ambitious and result-oriented Area Sales Manager – General Trade to take ownership of our MMR market, drive distribution expansion, and build a high-performing sales team.

Location: Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)

Salary: ₹52,000 – ₹70,000 per month

Experience: 4–8 Years | FMCG General Trad THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands the Mumbai FMCG General Trade market, has strong distributor/retailer relationships, and is ready to take ownership of an aggressive growth journey.

You will lead the new market expansion from Bandra to Virar, while strengthening our established presence across Thane, Navi Mumbai & Central Mumbai.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and expand the distributor & retail network across MMR

Appoint and manage distributors & super stockist

Drive primary & secondary sales and achieve monthly targets

Increase retail penetration and product visibility

Develop key supermarket, wholesale & retail accounts

Drive penetration of Bites by Bhagirathi Namkeen and other products

Recruit,



train & mentor TSIs and Sales Officers

Ensure solid execution through SFA tools, Excel MIS & regular market reviews

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Graduate in any discipline

4–8 years of FMCG General Trade experience

Experience in Food, Staples, Snacks or Ready-to-Eat categories preferred

Strong knowledge of Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai & Western suburbs

Established distributor/retailer network

Strong MS Excel, MIS & SFA skills

Excellent leadership, negotiation & communication skills

Proven track record of achieving sales targets
