JOB SUMMARY

HODU Agri Machines is looking for an energetic, responsible, and target-oriented Area Sales Executive for its DEUTZ-FAHR tractor dealership in Sri Muktsar Sahib.

The selected candidate will be responsible for generating tractor sales, developing relationships with farmers and local influencers, conducting field visits, organizing product demonstrations, and expanding the company’s customer base throughout the assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Generate enquiries and achieve monthly tractor sales targets.
- Visit villages, farmers, agricultural societies, contractors, and other potential customers regularly.
- Identify prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Explain tractor models, features, applications, pricing, finance options, and available offers.
- Arrange tractor demonstrations, field trials, customer meetings, and local promotional activities.
- Follow up with enquiries and convert leads into confirmed sales.
- Develop strong relationships with farmers, village influencers, commission agents, banks, and finance companies.
- Support customers with financing, documentation, registration, delivery, and after-sales coordination.
- Monitor competitor products, prices, offers, and market activities.
- Collect customer payments and outstanding amounts as authorized by the management.
- Maintain accurate daily visit, enquiry, follow-up, booking, and sales reports.




- Share daily work updates and field-location details with the reporting manager.
- Represent HODU Agri Machines and DEUTZ-FAHR professionally in the market.
- Provide proper support to customers before and after delivery.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduate preferred.
- Experience in tractor, automobile, agricultural machinery, finance, rural sales, or field sales will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of Sri Muktsar Sahib district and nearby rural markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Punjabi and Hindi; basic English is desirable.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Candidate should possess a valid driving licence and have a motorcycle.
- Must be disciplined, honest, punctual, and focused on achieving targets.
- Fresh candidates with strong local contacts and an interest in field sales may also apply.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Field Sales/Tractor/Automobile/Agricultural Machinery Sales: 1–3 years preferred
