Job Summary

ICA Edu Skills Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, confident and result-oriented Area Placement Executive (APE) to join our Industry Collaboration Team.

The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with companies and employers, identifying placement opportunities, coordinating recruitment requirements, conducting employer visits, and supporting placement and industry engagement activities.

This is a field-oriented role requiring extensive travel. The selected candidate will typically spend approximately 20 days per month travelling across assigned locations in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, with approximately 10 days working from the Kolkata Head Office in Sector V, Salt Lake, as per the operational schedule.

Candidates who are originally from Bihar, Jharkhand or Odisha and are comfortable with frequent travel are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with companies, employers, HR professionals and industry representatives.
- Identify and approach potential employers for student placements, recruitment and industry collaboration opportunities.
- Conduct regular company and employer visits across assigned territories.
- Understand employer hiring requirements, job openings, eligibility criteria and candidate expectations.
- Coordinate with employers regarding vacancies, interviews, recruitment drives and candidate profiles.
- Generate and follow up on placement and employer engagement opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective employer partners.
- Support and coordinate placement drives, recruitment activities, interviews and employer engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate internally with placement,



academic and other relevant teams for smooth execution of placement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of company visits, employer interactions, job requirements, follow-ups and placement activities.
- Achieve assigned employer engagement, company visit and placement-related targets.
- Represent ICA Edu Skills professionally during company meetings, employer visits and other industry interactions.
- Build a strong network of employers and contribute towards expanding the organization's industry partnerships.
- Submit regular reports and updates regarding field visits, employer interactions, opportunities and follow-ups.

EligibilityFor BBA – HR Candidates
- 0–1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, placement, employer engagement or related areas.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with good communication skills and a willingness to travel will be considered.

For Other Graduates
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Relevant experience in recruitment, placement, employer engagement, business development, sales, client coordination, corporate relations or similar fields will be preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in field-based employer engagement may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates belonging to Bihar, Jharkhand or Odisha will be preferred due to the extensive travel requirements of the role.
- Comfortable with approximately 20 days of travel per month across assigned territories.
- Comfortable working from the Kolkata Head Office in Sector V, Salt Lake for approximately 10 days per month.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Travel & Work Arrangement

This is a travel-intensive, field-based position.

- Approximately 20 days per month: Travel across assigned locations in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha for employer/company visits and industry engagement.
- Approximately 10 days per month: Work from ICA Edu Skills Kolkata Head Office, Sector V, Salt Lake.
- Exact travel schedule and locations will depend on business and operational requirements.
- Candidates must be comfortable with frequent intercity travel and field visits.
