Aswath Builders is looking for a creative and technically strong Architect to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for developing residential designs from initial concepts through detailed working drawings and coordinating with the project and site teams during execution.

We are looking for someone who can combine good design, practical construction knowledge, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural concept plans, floor plans, elevations and space planning.
- Develop 2D architectural drawings and detailed working drawings for site execution.
- Prepare and coordinate floor plans, sections, elevations, staircase details, toilet details, kitchen layouts and other architectural details.
- Develop attractive and practical residential building elevations.
- Create or coordinate 3D models and architectural visualisations for client presentations.
- Prepare drawings according to client requirements, site conditions and project budgets.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical and plumbing requirements.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers and contractors to ensure drawings are properly executed on site.
- Visit project sites when required to verify dimensions, clarify drawings and resolve design-related issues.
- Review site execution and identify deviations from approved architectural drawings.
- Make drawing revisions based on site conditions and client requirements.
- Assist in material, colour, finish, tile, sanitary and architectural product selections.




- Maintain organised drawing files and revision records for every project.
- Support client meetings and clearly present design concepts when required.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of SketchUp and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray or similar software is preferred.
- Good understanding of residential planning and architectural detailing.
- Basic understanding of structural, electrical and plumbing coordination.
- Practical understanding of construction methods and site execution.
- Good sense of space planning, proportions, colours, materials and contemporary residential design.
- Ability to convert concepts into clear, executable working drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualification B.Arch / Diploma or relevant qualification in Architecture

Freshers with a strong portfolio and valuable software skills may apply. Candidates with residential design and site experience will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We want an architect who is not limited to creating attractive designs. The candidate should understand how the design will actually be constructed on site and work closely with our execution team to turn drawings into completed buildings.

Portfolio submission is preferred along with the application.
