Role Description The AR Trainer – Hospital Billing UB04 is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for training team members on hospital billing processes, with a specific focus on UB04 claim forms, payer requirements, and revenue cycle workflows.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and delivering training modules, conducting refresher sessions, monitoring trainee performance, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. The AR Trainer will collaborate closely with operations, quality, and leadership teams to ensure billing practices are accurate, compliant,



and aligned with client expectations. The role also involves updating training materials based on regulatory changes, payer updates, and internal process enhancements, and supporting the onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of hospital billing, UB04 claim forms, payer guidelines, and revenue cycle processes, particularly in the U.S. healthcare context.
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring teams in accounts receivable, medical billing, or healthcare operations.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for resolving billing issues, denials, and process gaps.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
- Proficiency with billing systems, hospital information systems, and basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, documentation platforms).
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory and client standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple training assignments, and meet timelines.
- Prior experience in U.S. hospital AR, medical billing, or revenue cycle management; experience in an RCM or healthcare BPO setting is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; formal training or certification in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management is a plus.
