Job Summary

We are looking for an Application Engineer with experience in tendering, proposal preparation, BOQ creation, and techno-commercial coordination for Defence, Oil & Gas, EPC, and industrial projects.

The role involves handling customer RFQs/tenders, coordinating with suppliers and clients, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting execution teams for custom engineered systems involving piping, pneumatic, gas handling, and mechanical systems. This role will also lead/support a small engineering team of 1–2 engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Study customer RFQs, tender documents, specifications, and technical requirements
- Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender submissions
- Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for projects
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for costing and technical inputs
- Interact with clients for technical clarifications and proposal discussions
- Prepare costing sheets, compliance statements, and proposal documentation
- Work closely with design, procurement, and project execution teams
- Support Defence, Oil & Gas, R&D;, and turnkey engineering projects




- Handle multiple project proposals simultaneously within deadlines
- Guide/support junior engineers in proposal activities

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in

- Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Equivalent Engineering Discipline

Additional Notes

- 90% of the work is mechanical-oriented
- PLC/SCADA knowledge is NOT mandatory
- Good communication and coordination skills are essential
- Experience handling Defence or EPC tenders will be an advantage
