We are looking for a qualified and experienced Anesthesiologist to provide protected and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. The candidate will be responsible for pre-operative assessment, anesthesia administration, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operative evaluation and assess patients for anesthesia fitness.
- Develop appropriate anesthesia plans based on the patient's medical condition and surgical procedure.
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as required.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters throughout procedures.
- Manage airway and provide appropriate ventilation and respiratory support.
- Handle anesthesia-related emergencies and complications.
- Provide pain management during and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients during recovery and provide post-operative anesthesia care.
- Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and patient documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Participate in emergency procedures and critical-care support when required.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant experience as an Anesthesiologist/Anaesthetist.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, airway management, and patient monitoring.
- Ability to manage emergency and critical situations effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in OT, ICU, emergency, and critical-care settings.
- Knowledge of general, regional, and spinal/epidural anesthesia.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively with surgical and multidisciplinary teams.
