About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Android Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our talented development team at Recro. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable mobile applications used by thousands of active users daily.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend, product, and design, to deliver innovative features and ensure the highest standards of app quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, real-time systems, and performance optimization, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

- 3-6 years of hands-on Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin; knowledge of Java is a plus
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, lifecycle management, and Jetpack components
- Experience implementing MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time data handling
- Excellent grasp of multithreading and performance optimization techniques
- Experience with unit testing and writing maintainable, scalable code
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability,



and reliability
- Architect modular, clean, and testable codebases to facilitate future enhancements and maintenance
- Optimize app performance, including latency, memory usage, and responsiveness
- Implement real-time data updates using WebSockets, streaming, and push notifications
- Collaborate with product managers and backend teams to design and refine robust APIs
- Take ownership of app releases, ensuring smooth deployment and production stability
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Good to Have
- Experience developing fintech, trading, or other real-time data-driven products
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development
- Knowledge of app security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance
- Experience managing applications with 100K+ users, ensuring scalability and stability
