We're Hiring: Full time 2D Animator

Office-Based Role — Location: Park Street, Kolkata

Finest SEO Agency is a fast-growing digital marketing agency running SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads for service businesses and SaaS companies across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. We're looking for a creative and skilled 2D Animator to join our in-office team. If you enjoy bringing ideas to life through motion, character animation, and visual storytelling, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality 2D animations for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, explainer videos, and other social media platforms
- Design and animate motion graphics, kinetic typography, character animations, and visual effects for brand and ad content
- Research and apply the latest animation trends, motion styles, and visual storytelling techniques used in short-form and social content
- Use AI-powered animation and content creation tools for auto-rigging, motion presets, background generation, and workflow automation
- Transform scripts, storyboards, creative briefs, and raw concepts into polished, platform-ready animated content
- Optimise animated content for watch time, audience retention, engagement, and conversions across different platforms
- Adapt animation style, pacing, aspect ratios, and visual complexity according to platform-specific and brand requirements
- Collaborate with video editors, designers, and strategists to integrate animation seamlessly into larger video projects
- Manage multiple animation projects efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and project timelines
- Maintain consistent visual style, branding, colour palettes, and animation standards across different brands and campaigns

Required Skills

- Proven experience in 2D animation, motion graphics,



or explainer-style video content
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar animation software
- Strong understanding of animation principles including timing, easing, squash and stretch, and anticipation
- Hands-on knowledge of character rigging, frame-by-frame animation, and motion graphic templates
- Ability to create strong visual hooks, smooth transitions, kinetic typography, and engaging visual effects
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of AI-powered animation and content creation tools for auto-rigging, motion generation, and workflow automation
- Understanding of social media video specifications, aspect ratios, safe zones, and platform-specific content requirements
- Ability to storyboard and translate written concepts into clear, engaging visual sequences
- Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, typography, color theory, and brand guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced digital marketing agency environment

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Personal laptop equipped with animation software (After Effects, Adobe Animate, or Toon Boom Harmony)
- Experience Level: 2 to 5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Experience with character design, illustration, or basic 3D animation
- A standout portfolio showcasing animated Reels, explainer videos,



or brand animations — strong portfolios open room for salary negotiation above the listed range
- Prior experience creating animated content for international audiences (US/UK/Canada/Australia) or English-language brand content
- Familiarity with brand guidelines, style consistency, and multi-brand content management
- Basic knowledge of sound design or audio syncing for animated content
- Experience with stock assets, animation plugins, or asset libraries (Envato, Motion Array, Mixkit, etc.)
