Jeeva Medicare Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible Anaesthesia Technician to join our healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and check anaesthesia machines, monitors, instruments, airway equipment, and required consumables before procedures.
- Assist the anaesthesiologist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anaesthesia.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of oxygen, suction, breathing circuits, airway devices, and emergency equipment.
- Assist with patient positioning and safe transfer before and after procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and proper storage of anaesthesia equipment.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of anaesthesia-related drugs, consumables, and equipment.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, biomedical-waste, and hospital SOPs.
- Maintain required records, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with anaesthesiologists, surgeons, OT staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.




- Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Support emergency procedures and other duties assigned by the department.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant hospital/OT experience preferred.
- Freshers with the required qualification may also apply.
- Positive knowledge of anaesthesia equipment and basic airway-management practices.
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and support emergency procedures when required.

Candidate Preference Candidates residing within 5–10 km of Jeeva Medicare Hospital will be preferred, particularly those who can reliably commute for rotational shifts and emergency duties.
