Role & Responsibilities

- Manage Air Export Freight Forwarding operations independently from shipment booking to final delivery.

- Coordinate directly with Airlines to obtain and negotiate competitive Air Freight rates, schedules, space and bookings.

- Maintain strong relationships and regular coordination with Airlines, clients, internal operations teams and Head Office.

- Handle end-to-end Air Export shipment operations, ensuring timely and smooth execution.

- Coordinate with the team for customs clearance and documentation as per shipment requirements.

- Provide competitive freight rates and operational solutions to clients and support business requirements.

- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues, delays and exceptions.

- Ensure accurate and timely coordination between clients, airlines, customs and internal teams.

- Manage and guide the operations team to ensure service quality and adherence to timelines.

- Handle day-to-day responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred candidate profile





- Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Air Export Freight Forwarding.

- Strong hands-on experience in Air Export operations and international freight forwarding.

- Must have experience in direct coordination with Airlines for obtaining Air Freight rates, negotiating rates, space and bookings.

- Candidates from freight forwarding/logistics companies with strong Air Export exposure will be preferred.

- Valuable understanding of Air Freight rates, airline coordination, export documentation and customs clearance.

- Experience working with IATA/CHA-enabled freight forwarding operations will be an advantage.

- Should be capable of managing Air Export operations independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong client-handling, team-management and coordination skills.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge of the local language is also required.

- Should be proactive, commercially aware and capable of resolving operational issues independently.
