We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Traditional Machine Learning and strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, AWS, and MLOps.

The ideal candidate should have a robust foundation in traditional machine learning concepts and algorithms, along with demonstrated experience transitioning into Generative AI/LLM projects.

The candidate should be comfortable working across the complete ML lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using traditional ML techniques.
- Apply statistical inference and statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
- Perform feature engineering and feature selection to improve model performance.
- Identify, analyze, and appropriately handle outliers and anomalous data.
- Select appropriate ML algorithms based on business requirements and data characteristics.
- Evaluate and compare models using relevant performance metrics.
- Implement and optimize ensemble modelling techniques.
- Develop scalable ML solutions using Databricks and AWS.
- Apply MLOps practices across model development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to Generative AI initiatives and apply traditional ML expertise to emerging AI use cases.




- Work with contemporary Transformer architectures, Self-Attention mechanisms, and Foundation Models/LLMs.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Traditional Machine Learning / AI/ML.
- Strong expertise in Databricks.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Strong experience in MLOps / Machine Learning Operations.
- Strong knowledge of Statistical Inference.
- Strong expertise in Feature Engineering and Feature Selection.
- Experience in Outlier Detection and Handling.
- Strong understanding of Model Selection and Performance Evaluation.
- Ability to compare ML models using appropriate evaluation metrics.
- Hands-on experience with Ensemble Modelling techniques.
- Strong understanding of traditional machine learning algorithms and their practical application.
- Demonstrated transition from Traditional ML to Generative AI projects.
- Good understanding of Transformer Architecture.
- Good understanding of Self-Attention mechanisms.
- Understanding of Foundation Models and Large Language Models (LLMs), including models such as OpenAI, Claude, and similar platforms.

Primary Skills Non-Negotiable

1. 7+ years of AI/ML experience, with strong expertise in Traditional Machine Learning.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS, and MLOps.
3. Strong background in Traditional Machine Learning, with demonstrated transition to Generative AI projects.

Strong understanding of statistical inference, feature engineering/selection, model evaluation, ensemble modelling, and ML algorithms.
5. Good understanding of Transformers, Self-Attention, Foundation Models, and LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, and similar models.

Traditional Machine Learning Expertise Candidates should have practical experience with traditional ML techniques and algorithms, including relevant supervised and unsupervised learning approaches, model selection, optimization, and evaluation.

- 7+ years of relevant AI/ML experience.
- Strong hands-on engineering mindset with production ML experience.
- Strong expertise in Databricks, AWS, and MLOps.
- Solid mathematical/statistical foundation.
- Proven experience taking ML models from experimentation through production.
- Experience transitioning from traditional ML solutions to modern GenAI/LLM initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
