Role Description The Agri Machinery Business Partner role is an on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India. In this role, the individual will develop and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and agricultural customers to promote Makwel’s machinery and related solutions.

Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, visiting farms and agri businesses, providing product demonstrations, gathering market insights, and coordinating with internal teams for pricing, delivery, and after-sales support. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, preparing reports, supporting marketing initiatives in the region,



and ensuring customer satisfaction through responsive communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in agricultural machinery sales, business development, or channel management.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, especially with dealers, distributors, and farmers.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze local trends, and identify growth opportunities in the agri sector.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical product information in clear, practical terms.
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic or mechanical systems related to agricultural equipment is an advantage.
- Comfort with field work, frequent travel within Madhya Pradesh, and on-site customer visits.
- Proficiency in MS Office and use of digital tools for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in the agri input, farm equipment, or rural marketing domain is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
