Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and effective lectures in Linguistics and related areas for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
- Teach subjects such as General Linguistics, Phonetics & Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Applied Linguistics, and Language Teaching, as per academic requirements.
- Prepare course content, lesson plans, presentations, reading materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct tutorials, discussions, practical activities, and student presentations to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Evaluate assignments, internal assessments, examinations, and student performance as per university guidelines.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, research assignments, presentations, and related activities.
- Incorporate contemporary developments and practical applications of Linguistics into classroom teaching.
- Participate in departmental academic activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, and faculty development programmes, as required.
- Maintain academic records and complete teaching-related responsibilities within the prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with the department and faculty members to ensure effective delivery of courses.




- Contribute to curriculum development and other academic responsibilities as assigned by the University.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics / English Linguistics or a closely related discipline from a recognised university.
- Ph.D. in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics / related discipline will be preferred.
- Candidates with relevant teaching, research, or industry experience in Linguistics will be preferred.
- Robust academic record and research/publication experience will be an added advantage.
