Role Description The Accounts/Finance Manager role is a full-time position based in Coimbatore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. The Accounts/Finance Manager will prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.

Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, implementing financial controls, and providing financial analysis to support management decisions. The role requires close collaboration with sales and operations teams to track revenue, costs, and profit margins in the branded apparel business.

Qualifications





- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to the apparel or retail industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to implement and maintain internal controls, manage cash flow, and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in apparel, retail, or FMCG sectors is preferred, with familiarity in inventory management and cost tracking.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Mumbai, with the ability to manage responsibilities both on-site and remotely.
