Accounts Assistant

Location: East Mogappair, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: Minimum 1 Year in Accounts/Finance

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with positive knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel to join our Accounts/Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and post daily accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
- Post purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries accurately.
- Maintain and update Debtors and Creditors ageing reports.
- Perform daily bank entries and assist with bank reconciliation.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting financial documents.
- Verify invoices, vouchers, bills, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare and update MIS reports as required by management.
- Scrutinize accounting entries and identify discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in reconciliation of customer, supplier, bank, and ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements and reports.





Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the same field.
- Positive knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
